Chemical peels are designed to reveal smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin. This advanced treatment can soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, fade age spots and sun damage, improve the look of acne scars and other textural imperfections, and enhance overall skin tone and clarity. Chemical peels are also an effective option for addressing hyperpigmentation, including melasma, leaving the complexion looking refreshed, radiant, and revitalized.
PREP
Discuss your skincare routine with your provider prior to your appointment, as your provider may tell you to stop a certain product that could affect the chemical peel.
Avoid excessive sun exposure.
Avoid any other deep exfoliation treatments or facial laser hair removal 2 weeks before your appointment.
No self-tanning agents for at least 48 hours before your appointment.
RECOVERY + DOWNTIME
No downtime for this treatment.
Depending on the peel your provider chooses for you, you can expect to be slightly pink for the next 24-48 hours.
Avoid excessive sun exposure and always wear SPF.
Avoid picking or peeling.
Avoid exercise (sweating) for the remainder of the day.
Do not use AHA’s or BHA’s for 5 days post-treatment.
