A dermaplane is a form of physical exfoliation using a medical grade surgical blade, which removes the vellus hair (peach fuzz) and the top layer of the skin. This treatment will leave your skin smoother and more radiant, also allowing products to penetrate the skin more effectively and makeup to apply more smoothly.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR THIS SERVICE?

Dermaplaning is an excellent treatment for anyone looking to achieve a smoother, brighter complexion. It is especially beneficial for those with dry, rough skin, uneven texture, or fine facial (vellus) hair that can prevent skincare products and makeup from applying seamlessly. While suitable for most skin types, dermaplaning is not recommended for individuals with active acne, as exfoliating over inflamed breakouts may spread bacteria and further irritate the skin.

PREP

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and waxing for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

  • Avoid any exfoliating products 3 days before your appointment.

RECOVERY + DOWNTIME

  • No downtime with this treatment.

  • Use a gentle cleanser to avoid any irritation the day after the treatment.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure. (ALWAYS wear SPF.)

HOW OFTEN CAN I RECEIVE THIS TREATMENT?

  • Every 4-6 weeks
