DERMAPLANE

A dermaplane is a form of physical exfoliation using a medical grade surgical blade, which removes the vellus hair (peach fuzz) and the top layer of the skin. This treatment will leave your skin smoother and more radiant, also allowing products to penetrate the skin more effectively and makeup to apply more smoothly.

TREATMENT TIME: 30 minutes

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR THIS SERVICE? 

Male or Female, 18+. Dermaplaning is great for many, including patients with dry + rough skin or those who have vellus hair. This treatment is not ideal for people who have active acne, as it can cause the spread of bacteria to other parts of the skin.

PREP

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and waxing for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

  • Avoid any exfoliating products 3 days before your appointment.

RECOVERY + DOWNTIME

  • No downtime with this treatment.

  • Use a gentle cleanser to avoid any irritation the day after the treatment.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure. (ALWAYS wear SPF.)

HOW OFTEN CAN I RECEIVE THIS TREATMENT?

  • Every 4-6 weeks
