Treatments are led by Kayla Hale, PA‑C and owner of Halestorm, who has been administering injectable treatments since 2014. With over a decade of experience, her philosophy centers on thoughtful planning and honest results. Our goal is to create a treatment plan tailored to each patient’s personal goals, so they leave knowing we are always here to support them.

Neurotoxins, like Botox Cosmetic, work by gently relaxing targeted facial muscles, helping to smooth existing lines, prevent deeper wrinkles from forming, and maintain a rested, youthful appearance. Treatments can also provide added benefits such as reducing jaw tension from clenching or grinding, easing migraines, and managing excessive sweating.

TREATMENT TIME: 20 minutes
The session lasts about 20 minutes and is designed to feel relaxed and unhurried. This allows time to thoughtfully assess your needs and determine the neurotoxin option that’s the best fit for you.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR BOTOX?
Botox is suitable for males and females ages 18 and over who are looking to soften the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles, as well as help prevent new ones from forming. Neurotoxins can also be used for functional benefits, such as relieving jaw clenching or grinding, reducing migraine frequency, and managing excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

PREP

Avoid aspirin and other blood thinning medications for at least 10 days before injections.
Avoid ibuprofen 3 days prior to your treatment.
Avoid alcohol 2 days prior to your treatment.
Consider a supplement in the week leading up to your appointment, such as Arnica, to help reduce swelling and bruising.

RECOVERY + DOWNTIME

No downtime.
Avoid laying down flat for 4 hours post injections.
Avoid tight ball caps/hats for 24 hours.
Avoid exfoliating the area treated for the first 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours. Do not massage the injection site, as it could move or spread the neurotoxin.
